Stay motivated with free weight loss tips!.

There are too many “claims’ about weight loss attributed to Tea. One of the biggest claims is made by the marketers of Wulong Tea. The fact is that tea does cause the body to burn fat and tea does affect appetite to a small degree. But you should be skeptical as I am about the claims made that tea causes huge amounts of weight loss. Wulong Tea is a type of Oolong tea. Oolong is readily available and doesn’t cost a lot. I don’t believe that Wulong tea has any more effect on metabolism than Oolong tea.

Tea has an effect on metabolism and increases the body’s fat burn rate (thermogenisis). The amount of increase in metabolism is in the neighborhood of 4 percent which is not much by itself. But when combined in a multi-faceted approach with healthy eating and exercise then you can achieve the weight loss you want.

Since green tea and Oolong tea can give you an extra 4 percent increase in metabolism and tea has many other health benefits why would you pass on all these positive benefits. Now drink your tea!

Weight Loss Tips

Drink green tea – Stop drinking carbonated colas and soft drinks. Drink green tea instead. When I stopped drinking Coke and Pepsi I eventually lost ten pounds. Now I drink water, fruit juice, and green tea.

Exercise – Walking is an excellent exercise. Walk 30 minutes at a time three times a day. When I was walking six miles a day I lost 23 pounds.

Eat Healthy – Cut out the desserts. Eat fruits, Eat brightly colored vegetables, lean meat such as chicken and fish

Eat Slowly – It takes a few minutes for the nutrients you eat to be processed and increase your blood sugar level. When the brain is informed of the increased level of sugar in your blood you get that “full” feeling and your desire to eat is satisfied.

Chew your Food – The first step in digestion takes place in your mouth. Starches are broken down into simple sugars by saliva. Take time to chew your food thoroughly. This also helps with the Eat Slowly tip above.
